F(x) = x + 2 and h(x) = 1/(x -1)
2f(x) - h(x) = just multiply f(x) by 2, and subtract h(x)
(2) f(x) = 2(x+2) = 2x + 4
h(x) = 1/(x-1)
2x + 4 - 1/(x-1) next you would need a common denominator, so multiply both by (x-1), distribute and simplify
(x-1)(2x+4) - 1 = (2x2-2x+4x-4)/(x-1) = (2x2+2x-4)/(x-1)

Hi,
F(x) = x + 2 and h(x) = 1 / x -1
2f(x) - h(x) = ?
In fact, it is necessary you replace given functions in the 2f(x) - h(x)
2f(x) - h(x) = 2x + 4 - 1/x + 1 = 2x - 1/x + 5
I hope it is useful,

I'm assuming your question is to find what 2f(x) - h(x) is equal to, simplified. Correct?09/22/20
