Physics Teaching is my EXPERTISE with assured improvement
Volume displaced by ice cube = 50 cm3 = Volume of ice inside water ,when ice is floating on water
The buoyant force exerted by water on ice cube = Wt of water displace by floating iced cube = Volume * density of water * g = 50 * 10-6 *1000 *10 = 0.5 N ( 1cm3 = 10-6 m3 , Density of water 1000 kg/m3 , g =10 )
This is also Archimedes Force = 0.5 N
Wt of ice Cube = Volume * density * g =50*10-6 *900* 10 = 0.45 N
Mass of ice cube = 0.45/10 = 0.045 Kg
