Length of Rectangle = x
Width of Rectangle = 2x (since its twice)
Then we know by definition: Perimeter = 2 (L + W) => 2 (x + 2x) = 21 cm
solving for unknown length x: we get 6x = 21 => x = 3.5 cm (which is shorter one).
