Hi. The first thing to do is to determine how many seconds there are in an hour. Since there are 60 seconds in a minute, and 60 minutes in an hour, we can see there are 3600 seconds (60x60) in an hour.

Two seconds passed, so if we multiply the fraction 2/3600 by 50 km, we will obtain the distance that the bus traveled. You obtain 100/3600 km, or 1/36 km. That is equal to 1000/36 meters.

By division, an approximation would be 27.8 meters, rounded to the nearest tenth.

Well 50 km/h = 50 000 m per hour (as 1 km = 1000 m) = 50000 / 3600 m/s as there are 60 x60 = 3600 s per hour.

So in 2 s, bus will have moved ( 2 x 50000 / 3600) m
