If you can export your data from FileMaker Pro into a CSV format, you can then use a plugin like LR/Transporter to import the metadata into LR Classic.

Without seeing the actual errors, it's hard to say what's going wrong and how to fix the issue. In general, I'd say experiment with a small test catalog until you have the import/export process working properly before touching your main catalog. And make sure you have backups of that as well.

Thank you very much for the response. I do have the LR/Transporter, but I have found the process somewhat difficult to accomplish properly...09/10/20
