In the Iliad, there is a dichotomy between war and peace, suffering and understanding. How can this contrast be related to a current global issue?

There are nearly infinite ways that these dichotomies could relate to current issues, but the "plague" is perhaps the most pressing parallel between present-day concerns and the Iliad. The amount of violence following Apollo's plague on the Acheaens is something to note as we continue living in a new Covid-19 reality.
