The equation of the hyperbola that has a center at (10,7) a focus at (5,7) and vertex at (13,7)

(x-C)^2/A^2 - (y-D)^2/B^2 =1

(x-C)^2/A^2 is one fraction another (y-D)^2/B^2

A= 9

B= 16

C= 10

D= 7

This is what i got A and B seem wrong could anyone

steer me in right direction on wat i ddi wrong

So far, so good, but you have given a^2 and b^2, not a and b.

(x-10)^2/9 - (y-7)^2/16 = 1

You can also write

16(x-10)^2 - 9(y-7)^2 = 144; then, you can expand if you like.
