asked 08/01/20What is the resistance of R3 and the current of the circuit if this is series?
The voltage provided by the battery is 100 V and the resistance of R1 is 20 Ω, the resistance of R2 is 60 Ω, and the voltage drop across R1 is 10 V.

In a series circuit the current I is constant, and related to the resistance by.
V = I (R1 + R2 + R3) (AN EXTENSION OF Ohm's Law, V=IR).
Considering R1 you can find the current I using V=IR, you know V (10) and R (20).
Then knowing I you can find R3 using the equation above.
