Prove k^2=(1^2) +(2^2) + (3^2) +....+(n^2)= [n(n+1)(2n+1)/6] using induction.

The problem should read: Prove that the summation from k = 1 to k = n of k^2 = 1^2 + 2^2 = ... + n^2 = [n(n+1)(2n+1)]/6. Mathematical induction was used, as required.
