I can help you with the "how" and the "why" of Mathematics
Hi Jade,
The domain of a function are values you can input in the function f(x). So, if the domain of f(x) is [-3,3], then x must be between -3 and 3 or -3<=x<=3 Then the domain of f(x-1) should be all the x values where the input is between -3 and 3 or -3<=x-1<=3 . (Basically after plugging in x, the valoue in side the parenthesis should always be between -3 and 3) Adding one to each part of the ineuality gives you x is between -2 and 4. or the domain is [-2,4]. The range of f(x) are the output values and the put put values for f(x) and f(x-1) will be the same. I can show this using the graph of the two functions if you like.
