horizontal surface, such that their center lines are perfectly parallel (figure 3).
Cylinder A has a mass of 10 kg, and cylinder B has a mass of 7.5 kg. At what
speed will the cylinders move after collision for the coefficient of restitution
to be 0.75?

I don't t see a figure.
The problem can be solved only if we know directions before and after collision
The coefficient of restitution is the ratio of velocity of separation to velocity of approach ( In vector form , so directions are important )
