Hi apologies, but why is delta B= -1.8?

delta_B as I wrote it means "change in the magnetic field". Because the magnetic field decreases in strength by 1.8 T that would mean that del_B = -1.8. This means del_b is effectively the same as dB as long as you assume a constant rate of change.
