The voltages across R2 and R3 are the same, so
I2R2 = I3R3 ⇒
I3 = I2R2 / R3 = (2)(5) / (2) A = 5A
I1 = I2 + I3 = (2 + 5) A = 7A
V1 = I1R1 = (7)(1) v = 7v
Voltage across entire network:
Either of the 2 equations below will give it.
V = I2R2 + V1 = [(2)(5) + 7] v = 17v
V = I3R3 + V1 = [(5)(2) + 7] v = 17v
