Restrict only footer of Word documents

Question

Is it possible to restrict only the footer of a Word document? All tutorials/forums I found so far are always restricting footer and header at once while I am interested in selectively restrict only the footer. Thank you!

If you mean by restricting, the vertical size of the footer, yes you can increase or decrease the size of the footer by going to the DESIGN Ribbon, POSITION section on right, Footer from bottom adjustment.
