Hi Mj,
Try doing Part B first. If the function has a value at 3, then 3 is in the domain of the function.
For example, 3 is in the domain of f(x) = x^2 + 1 because f(3) = 3^2 + 1 = 9 + 1 = 10.
3 is not in the domain of g(x) = 1/(x-3) because attempting to evaluate g(3) results in division by 0 which is undefined.
