Earth Science question

it’s your first day on the job within a paleoclimatology laboratory, and you have been given a section of a glacier ice core from Antarctica to analyze. After some analysis, you find that the air bubbles contain very high concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2) and the oxygen-18 isotope. Based on these findings, what do you conclude about the temperature of the atmosphere during the time period that coincides with this section of the ice core? Why do you conclude this?
