As far as I know, there is only one Anglo-Saxon epic. It's called Beowulf, which means bee-wolf. It recounts the deeds of the eponymous hero as he slays some monsters, beats a guy at a swimming contest, and saves the Danish kingdom.
All epics are poetry. Some others include The Iliad (Greek), The Odyssey (Greek), The Aeneid (Roman), and The Canterbury Tales (English). Don Quixote (Spanish) is a mock epic. A particular feature of the Anglo-Saxon epic is that it uses kennings, which are alliterative circumlocutions.
I hope that answers your question, but feel free to let me know if you need something more specific.
