Physics G7th GRade Speed and Time

Question

Walking at the rate of 4 km/h a man cover certain distance in 2 hr 45 min. In how

much time the man will cover the same distance while running at a speed of 16.5

km/h?

I have asked this question many times and have got varied answers, please help.

The distance covered first time equals d = v₁t₁.

Same distance covered while running is d = v₂t_2.

Both times he covers same distances, therefore v₁t₁ = v₂t₂ and t₂= v₁t₁/v₂

Substituting numeric values we get t₂ = 4 km/h x 2.75 h/ 16.5 km/h = 0.67h
