The mass of an object double while its speed is halved. What happens to the objects a) momentum b)Kinetic Energy

(a)
p1 = mv
m → 2m
v → v/2
p2 = (2m)(v/2) = mv = p
No change in momentum.
(b)
K1 = mv2/2
m → 2m
v → v/2
K2 = (2m)(v/2)2/2 = (1/2)mv2/2 = K/2
Kinetic energy drops by half.
