The equation that determine the magnitude of force on a charged particle from a magnetic field, or the Lorenz force, is F = qvB sin (theta), there (theta) is the angle between the velocity and the magnetic field.
So . . . F = (1.6 x 10-19 C)(107 m/s)(3.5 T)(sin 45 degrees) = 4.24 x 10-17 N
