This is something you just plug in your calculator. "sin-1" is usually "second function" "sin" button. If your calculator is in degree mode, the answer it gives you will be in degrees. If it is in radian mode, the answer it gives you will be in radians.
With my calculator in degree mode, when I type in sin-1(0.3536), I get 20.708°.
With my calculator in radian mode, when I type in sin-1(0.3536), I get 0.3614 radians
To go between degrees and radians, use the conversion factor that 180° is π radians like this:
