The question isn't entirely clear.
If it is asking what types of adaptations allow prey to escape being caught and handled, the list is quite long: vigilance, hiding, camouflage, mimicry, warning coloration, flight, startle sounds and coloration, pursuit deterrence signals (but I can't think of an insect example), playing dead (but I can't think of an insect example), grouping (dilution effect, selfish herd, communal defense, predator confusion), alarm calls, etc.
If it is asking what types of adaptations allow prey to escape once caught, the list is shorter: chemical and physical defenses, fighting back (individually or in a group, though in insects the latter is rare except in the social insects), defensive regurgitation, autotomy (dropping a body part), etc.
Hope this helps.
