Rudy, your problem statement is ambiguous because of a lack of parentheses. check out the Wyzant Resource “Math: You Need Parentheses” and see if you need more. For example, I’m guessing at a different problem than Jon guessed at.
815x2(1/9)2x = 27
813x3 = 27
taking cube roots
81x= 3
x = 3/81 = 1/27
if you wanted Jon’s interpretation to be unambiguous, you needed to pose it as:
81^(5x^2)*(1/9)^(2x)=27

Assuming your asking to solve for x when 815x^2(1/9)2x=27, the solution is x = -0.3,0.5.
