The point-slope pattern for the equation of a line:
y - y1 = m(x - x1) We are given that m = 15 and that (x1, y1) values are (20, 2).
y - 2 = 15(x - 20) This is the unsimplified point-slope form for this given information.
To convert this form to the slope-intercept form, solve the above equation for y to get y = mx + b.
y - 2 = 15(x - 20)
y - 2 = 15x - 300
y = 15x - 298
