3(x+h)^2 - 2(x+h) = (x+h) [ 3(x+h)-2] = (x+h) [ 3x + 3h - 2]
= 3x^2 + 3xh - 2x + 3xh +3h^2 - 2h
= 3x^2 + 6xh - 2x + 3h^2 - 2h
subtracting f(x) = 3x^2 - 2x from that:
6xh + 3h^2 - 2h
dividing by h: 6x + 2h - 2
===========================================
(x+h)^2 + 1 = x^2 + 2xh + h^2 + 1
subtracting g(x) = x^2 + 1:
2xh
dividing by h :
2x
