The important thing about a limit is that you don't need to worry about what happens AT x = 2 because you never actually get to x = 2, you just get closer and closer to it. In fact, you can cover up the graph at x = 2. If you do that, you can see that when you get closer and closer to x = 2 from the left, the value (y value) gets closer and closer to 2 (y = 2). The same thing happens when you get closer and closer to x = 2 from the right. So the limit is 2.
