A rollercoaster car, 300 kg with passengers, accelerates down a 65° hill. We will assume that friction is small enough that it can be ignored.

A) Determine the value of the component pf the gravitational force parallel to the hill

B)What is the acceleration oof the rollercoaster down the hill?

C)If they are traveling 4 m/s, how fast will they be traveling at the end of the straight stretch 20 m later?

I'm a little confused with the first answer. Why is it 577.3 instead of 2664.5? That just seems like a random number that you contrived. Everything else looks solid ;)

You are correct. The math is right, the numbers are all there. This is what I would call an error in calculator input. The lesson is to alway double check the answer yourself to make sure that it makes sense, which I failed to do in this case. Thank you for pointing it out!
