sin A = 24/25 → cos A = -3√11
sin B = 2/5 → cos B = √21
That's is all that is needed for the difference and double formulas.

asked 12/01/19Given sin A= 24/25, A lies in quadrant 2, and cos B= 2/5, B lies in Quadrant 1, how would I sketch a triangle that would apply to both of these requirements?
I have to then use this triangle to solve a difference of cosine and a double angle problem but that should be fine as long as I can actually set up the triangle.
