a right angle triangle where sides A and B are 30 ft long, how long is side C?

I just need to find an answer to my question as follows:  you have a right angle triangle and 2 sides are a 90 degree are 30ft long, how long is the third side?

Use the Pythagorean Theorem:  a² + b² = c²

 

30² + 30² = c²

900 + 900 = c²

1800 = c²

√(2  9  100) = c

30√2 = c

 

The hypotenuse measures 30√2 feet.
