0.012x^2-0.583x+35.726 = 50

0.012x^2-0.583x-14.274 =0

divide all the equation over 0.012

x^2- 48.583 x-1189.5=0

factorize using your calculator

x = 66.47 or -17.89

we would refuse the negative solution because there is no negative time

therefore x = 66.47 Million households
