Question

Using a graphing calculator, graph f(x)=-x^3+6x^2-9x-10 in the viewing rectangle [-3,7,-20,15]. Find the intervals on which the function is increasing or decreasing and find any relative maxima or minima.

Decreasing: (-∞,1)u(3,∞)

Increasing:(1,3)

Relative Min: (1,-14)

Relative Max: (3,-10)
