Work = F*d = change in kinetic energy which makes since, if you push something with a force along a distance, it's gonna start moving faster

* initial kinetic energy is zero *so change in kinetic energy is .5*m*v

**407N * 7.4m = 0.5 * (141 kg) * v**^{2}** so just solve for v.** Note: work is in units joules, so is kinetic energy, and F*d gives you N-m (Newton-meters) which is therefore equivalent to joules.
