It looks like "indicated probability" is just meaning P(Alana wins). It's probably a generic, all-purpose question tag for lots of different types of probability questions.
So if you roll a pair of dice, there are 62 possibilities, or 36. It's possible to make a 6 X 6 chart to show all possible rolls. That seems to be to be what they mean by sample space.
