A ball is thrown horizontally from the top of a building 30 m high. The ball strikes the ground at a point 95.3 m from the base of the building. The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s 2 .what is the time the ball is in motion. :)

Calculate the time it takes to hit the bottom. That gives the total time of flight.

h = gt² / 2 ⇒

t = √(2h/g)

h = 30 m

g = 9.8 m/s²

Plug in the numbers and get t in seconds.
