Can someone please help me?

Does anyone know what topics need to be focused on for these two questions for an essay? I am not sure what to write..

1.) Consider the contributions of the ‘philosophes’ especially Denis Diderot. What change might this new approach to thinking bring about in light of the ‘Age of Enlightenment’?

2.) How do we come to understand the ideas of Rational Humanism based on the writings of Rousseau? What does he specifically say about the limitations of society?

1) I'm not sure about focus, but it might be worth mentioning his debate with Euler at Empress Catherine the Great's court in Russia.

2) Rousseau is known for the "Noble Savage" that man is born virtuous and corrupted by society.
