Notice that as x goes to negative infinity, y goes to negative infinity too. So, the lower bound, which is to the far left of x = zero, where x approaches negative infinity and y goes infinitely downward on a cartesian coordinate system, goes to negative infinity.

Hi Apollo! Quick question, is there any other information in the question? Are you trying to decide whether k is an upper or lower bound for the real zeros of the function?10/08/19
