A car is parked on an incline that makes an angle of 24˚ with the horizontal. The car rolls from rest down the incline with a constant acceleration of 3.96 m/s² . How far will the car have travelled in meters horizontally after 5.76 seconds? (Decimal places = 3)

The distance on the ramp that the car traveled is given by d=(1/2)at^2=(0.5)(3.96)(5.76)^2=65.69 meters.

The horizontal component of this travel is 65.69*cos24degrees= 60.0 meters.
