This is an "area of a sector" problem. Think of a sector like a piece of pie. The piece of pie is a fraction of the whole pie. So the area of a sector is a fraction of the area of whole circle. Use the fraction "measure of arc/ 360" in the equation below.
Area of Sector = (measure of arc/360) times π r2
So in this case
(106/360) * π (35)2
=1135.16 sq in
