Word Problem for calc

Mark and Nina are 210 feet apart when they start walking toward one another. Nina walks twice as fast as Mark so whenever Mark travels xfeet, Nina travels 2x feet. Let x represent the number of feet Mark has traveled since he started walking toward her.


Write a expression in terms of x to represent the distance (in feet) between Mark and Nina.




Let d represent the distance (feet) between Mark and Nina. Write a formula that expresses d in terms of x.
