Judges are supposed to be interpreters of the law not legislators of it. The judicial branch should be the least political of our branches in government. If law is to be changed, then people need to run for Congress or for their state legislature. If a person doesn't like what types of judges are being picked, then you simply need to go out and vote for who you want to be as the governor of your state or president of the United States. It all depends on who you vote for as far as the types of judges there are in the courts in both federal and state governments.
