Formula for the force of gravity:
F = G( m1 * m2 ) / d2
where:
F = force
G = universal gravitational constant
m1 & m2 are the 2 masses
d is the distance
If one mass is increased by 10%, the force increases by ~20%. If BOTH masses are increased by 10%, the force increases by almost 50%.
(to be precise, the factor in the first case is 1.1^2 = 1.21. In the second case, 1.1^4 = 1.46)
