If you were traveling at 100 km/hr, how long would it take you to travel 1,000,000 km?

For my Earth science class I was given this question, but I don't understand how to answer it.

Distance = speed * time

 

or

 

time = distance/speed

 

you know

 

distance = 1,000,000 km

 

speed = 100 km/hr

 

so

 

divide distance by speed to get your answer
