MS Word - Reference to highest number in a numbered list?

I have a list like this: 1. Step one 2. Step two3. Step fourAs the list grows, I want a reference at the top of the page to say something like:The last step in this document is step 3.I want that number in bold to automatically update. Is this possible via a reference?
