I don't see a question here, but I'll respond anyway. You are right, the term resilience became widespread due to developments in hazard mitigation and disaster response. Resilience is the ability to absorb and address shocks without collapsing or losing coherence. Resilience is about bending without breaking. A resilient community is one that is prepared for common disasters, knows what to do when they strike, and has the knowledge and capacity to recover fully. The same is true of resilient people.
