First look for the unit of measure that the question is asking for: ml
So the question is telling you you have 0.8g and you need to convert that amount to ml
I typically create a table which I can't really show you here but I'll do my best to recreate it:
So your starting dosage is on the left: 0.8g
The first conversion would be to get your g to mg: So 1000mg is = 1g
The second conversion would be to get your mg to ml: So 1000mg = 1ml
The last step is to place the other unit of measure you have on the bottom of the table like below: 0.4ml
If you imagine there are lines separating each value, you can cross cancel all similar values: So cancel the 1000mg on the top and bottom of the equation, leaving you with 0.8/0.4 = 2ml
0.8g 1000mg 1ml
1g 1000mg 0.4ml
