No, the Earth is not hollow. It consists of 4 main layers:
- A solid outer crust that forms the earth's surface - it's where we live and is only about 10 miles thick
- The mantle, consisting of superheated rock. The mantle is about 2000 miles thick and makes up most of the Earth's mass
- The outer core consisting of molten rock and metals
- The inner core consisting of solid iron and nickel
