Computers and Web Design are stimulating; let's explore!
Hello. Your hourly pay would vary quite a bit depending on where in the US. With 3 years experience. Here in the DFW area you should be looking at at least $20+ an hour. However, the South has a cheaper rate of living when compared to the NE or NW, even CA.
Personally? I would start getting on places such as Upwork and begin taking side jobs, building a reputation for good, quality work and ratings on there. You never know what could come of an excellent job well done for any one of those clients. One of them could potentially offer you something long term or permanent. If not? You still gain extra experience and broaden your scope because you will have obtained jobs from clients in many business sectors.
Yout can also search for other opportunities every week on Indeed, for instance, and eventually may land a great opportunity; if and when the time is right.
Llastly, consider professional/technical head hunters. You can Google that: "technical head hunters" or "technical recruiter" in your area and you will get a list of companies that recruit for technical jobs. It's a higher end staffing company from which you would benefit.
I hope some of this helps. Good luck to you! If you have any more questions or need me to clarify something in my answer, dont hesitate!
Have a good night!
