asked • 05/19/19Seth is traveling at 9m/s, Mack is traveling at 27m/s. Seth is 30m ahead of Mack. What equation do I need to find how the distance that Mack must travel in order to catch up to Seth and the time that It will take?
(9x60).(t+30) = (27x60)(t)
that is the equation you need to solve for in order to find out how long it will take Seth and Mack to meet. Once you find t you plug back in the left or the right side of the equation to find the distance. Hope this helps.

Do I take 15mins in seconds [900] and multiply that by 27 to then get [24,300] to then convert to miles? for which I get 15.1 miles.05/20/19
