Serbo-Croatian is the old name of one of the Slavic languages and it is better known today as Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian and Montenegrin - listed as separate languages, even though speakers of these languages do not need a translator when they communicate.
Slovak language is also understandable to these speakers; some words or grammar structures might be slightly different. It is probably more similar to Slovenian, Czech or Polish. Again, Slavic languages are indeed, all similar.
