A swimming pool of width 9m and length 24m is filled with water to a depth of 3m. Calculate pressure on the bottom of pool due to the water.(Density of the water is 1000kg/meter cube)

Water pressure depends only on the depth. The formula is P = WH , let g = 9.8m/s²

where W = specific weight of the liquid = density*g = 9.8m/s²(1000 kg/m³ ) = 9800 kg/(m²-s²) and h = 3 m

so, P = 9800*3 = 29,400 kg/(m-s²⁾
